This hosted 8x8 Virtual PBX service does not require the purchase of IP phones. It is a basic automated attendant that plays your Company's greeting/s and forwards calls to extension on the auto attendant.
Extensions can be set to forward calls to individuals voicemail or connect live. Extensions can also be programmed to play a company message.
Calls to extensions can forward to any phone e.g. work, cell, home, etc. Not like Packet8's
Virtual Office Service
which is a business VoIP service that requires the purchase of IP phones. This service does not require IP phones are works in conjunction with your current phone/s. Callers can be forwarded into the 8x8 voicemail system or to a third party voicemail.
The cost of the service is $14.99 per month plus $9.99 for each extension. Calls going to voicemail are unlimited and there is a 2.9 cents per minute charge for connected live calls. They also offer a unlimited flat rate extension. Please call our office for pricing.
