Customer Service:

ViaTalk claims that service is one of their main priorities. They provide email support 24/7 and phone support from 8 AM to 12 AM EST. For the most part customer opinions of VT customer support are that they are available most of the time but not very considerate.

ViaTalk Review:

ViaTalk offers the most standard features compared to their competition. There is an additional one-time activation fee of $29.95 applicable over above the monthly charges. However, this is waived off for customers subscribing to 12 months or 24 months packages.

In case of cancellation, ViaTalk charges a cancellation fee which depends on the package to which the customer has subscribed and the time period for which he has used the services. The balance amount is refunded to customers after deduction of the cancellation fee.

ViaTalk claims they are the price leader for unlimited calling. The catch is that you have to pay for 2 years of service in advance. You also have the option of paying for 1, 3, 6, 12 or 24 months at a time at a higher price.
